what students are saying

"Working with Allie was great! The constant need to pee was taking over my life. She gave me simple, gentle poses that helped me reconnect, ease tension, and build confidence again." - Denise M.

"I started attending Allie’s Core and Pelvic Floor class to see what it was all about and now it’s on my list of ‘must attend classes’ for the week! She integrates breath with strength and stretch exercises for all fitness levels and you will leave feeling relaxed and truly grounded." - Beth H.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need yoga experience to join?

No. All of our classes and workshops are beginner-friendly. Movements are adaptable to your comfort and ability.

Is this yoga only for women?

No. Core and pelvic floor health matter for every body — men, women, and non-binary folks alike.

Can I join if I’m pregnant?

Some of our classes are pregnancy-friendly, but Core & Pelvic Floor Yoga may not be the best fit in the 2nd or 3rd trimester since it includes stronger core work. Please check with your healthcare provider, and consider starting with Foundations or certain workshops where modifications are more supportive.

Can I join if I’m post-partum?

Yes. Many of our classes and workshops are postnatal-friendly. We recommend joining after six weeks postpartum, or whenever your healthcare provider has cleared you to resume activity. Our approach is gentle and supportive, helping you reconnect with your core and pelvic floor safely. For extra guidance, consider starting with Foundations or a private consultation.

How is Connected Core Yoga different from pelvic floor physiotherapy?

We don’t replace medical care — we complement it. Yoga supports clients between physio visits, offers accountability through group classes, and provides an affordable option for those without insurance coverage.

What if I have incontinence, prolapse, or diastasis recti?

You are not alone. Our classes and workshops use safe, evidence-informed practices designed to support these conditions. Always consult with your healthcare provider first.

What should I bring to class?

A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and water. Props are optional — blocks, bolsters, or pillows may add comfort. We have some to share!

Do you offer private sessions?

Yes. One-on-one consultations provide individualized guidance and custom sequences tailored to your needs.
